I want to take up some space here to give a huge Thank You to John Sinkevics and the
Grand Rapids Press for turning the misfortune of my broken knee into a super positive
piece that not only pointed out my determination and love of performing but also
encouraged me to keep on keeping on. This was a super kind gesture on John's part, I
would have never thought my situation would warrant press at all but to portray it in such
positive light is reflective of John's caring for local musicians and the local music scene.
Thank You, we (local musicians) are very lucky to have some one in your position on our
side and should all feel priveleged to be able to call you "friend".

Goodbye, Old friend. Though time and feelings separated us, the time we had, spent growing
and teaching each other, can never be erased. You taught me guitar licks, I taught you
people licks. Was a time we spent hours figuring out the world, musically and socially,
passing our strengths to each other, me preaching to charge ahead and you how one should
hold back and prepare. I wish we could have talked just one more time on what gifts we had
passed on to each other and even though never reunited, appreciated for the positive. We
didn't talk anymore but you were still out there and that in itself was subconscious
inspiration. That is now gone but I remain doing what we loved to do because I love doing it,
writing songs form my soul and sharing them with the world. It is too bad the world won't
have your view to share anymore. Peace, EC...Weez
